Blue Blue
Feeling kind of blue now. Don't know why. Though it's Friday, it doesn't make much of a difference to me since I'm still staying on campus tonight. Looking forward to going home tomorrow before I start my "confinement in NTU" for mugging. I'm just moody today.
Just finished on AFM with my trial pig's esophagus tissue sample. No breakthrough...the surface was too rough and the cantilever just gets hooked by the fibres most of the time. Impossible to be characterized. Even Prof Butler says it's hopeless to continue on that sample. Shall wait for the actual one. Really hope I can work something out.
Went running the first time with WX yesterday. I think there's something against me whenever I run in campus. Am I cursed or something?! We were running fine till we ran behind hall 6 and it was rather dark there and I can't really see the path clearly. WX wanted to warn me the terrain there's quite rough...but before he could finish his sentence, I sprained my ankle! Siao leh, why am I so careless...totally disgusted by myself! I think my ankle joint is loose already, after spraining 'a million' times during trainings in the past. The very moment I sprained it, there wasn't any pain at all. So I thought it's just a minor sprain and continued running. The pain really set in after about another 3km of run. Wah seh, it was then that I realised how serious the sprain was. And my hall toilet has to get spoilt at this time, meaning I've gotta climb to the 4th level whenever I need the washroom. Is somebody out there cursing me? Hmm. Anyway, YL was nice...she got me ice packs to moment I got back to hall but it couldn't stop the swelling. Now my ankle looks just like pig's trotters. Yucks! Prof Butler was still making fun of me and imitating me limping as he walked. Ha! He's just so funny la. That aside, it means I can't run for some time! And exams are really near...I bet I can't find the time to run 2 weeks down the road:( Sad.
Yay!! Home sweet home tomorrow. Yippee! Looking forward to that. Meanwhile, continue mugging in library.
