Finally...verdict's out!

I thought I was going to da-bao something, probably Design Optimization & Analysis which I spent the day before cramming in the entire finite element analysis till 6am and the paper's at 9.30am? Or fluids engineering, which I screwed up almost 2 questions out of 4? I was lucky, I managed to do it this round. *Phew! Sweat!* Passed passed passed! I should really congratulate myself for surviving it this time so that I'll hopefully have a relatively lesser-module-semester for my final semester. Congrats to all who made it too...for those for didn't (I hope there isn't), there's still a last chance next semester! Come to think of it, I wasn't all that excited or beaming and screaming with joy when the results page with a string of grades loaded front of my eyes. It was more of a "Orrh...I passed. Heng ah." kind of feeling. I remember something Pearl mentioned in her bloggie that struck a chord with me..."the anticipation is always better than the real thing." I always get this feeling too. Anyway, I think God really answered my prayers this time (like what it has always been). I'm not a very religious person, feeling guilty that I'm not as devoted as I can be...but I do believe in God. Really thankful for that:)

Didn't know that the new grading system NTU adopted is going to affect people of my batch. From this semester, our grades'll have the -/+ alongside the alpha grade. But from year 1 till 3, its just purely A, B, C, D etcetra! Wonder what's on our transcript then. Won't our future employers find it weird if we've been getting A, B, C, D and suddenly now we've got A+, B+, C+, D+? Doesn't it imply we weren't performing so well in the past? Or A-, B-, C-, D-...implying we aren't performing as well now? Hmm...either way, it has its implications right? *Confused* Why impliment it on our batch?

Kind of miss the days mugging in the library and mugging into the night with Edna & YL at canteen B. I'm neither sadistic nor do I like to torture myself, just miss the good old days doing nothing but studying, gossiping during breaks, encouraging each other, braving the 'storm' at canteen B every night (it can get really cold & stormy after midnight up there...chilly!) & surviving one battle after another. Seeing the same people around mugging every night...though it's people whom I don't even know but you just know their existence there, mugging together. Can't put that feeling properly into words. It's a peculiar feeling, as if you know but in actual fact, you don't know that person.

Time to work on FYP & think of next semester. Life goes on...
