猪年行大运!

It's 初三 of 农历新年! Slept most of my day away after a run in the morning. I never seem to get enough of sleeping..haha. The lunar new year's as per every other year..visiting relatives on the first day..visiting neighbour on the second day and slacking on the third? Ehm...that's about it. There isn't as many people that turned up on 初一 as other years...guessed it's because people get married and they just wanna avoid having to distribute red packets? They'll probably start popping by when they have kids to "recoup losses" on their behalf?? How practical people can get. Oh well, it's the joy of gathering rather than the amount in the red packets isn't it? Haiz...现实的世界！CNY has kind of evolved to just a "standard operating procedure" kind of event...just going through the motion everytime of this year. Has it thus lost its meaning and significance and has turned into a $-tug-of-war, free food on the hosts and just another session of 嘘寒问暖 every once a year? I sometimes wonder.

In the midst of packing up my room for the new year, stumbled upon many many memories. It was almost like a walk down memory lane...from nursery times to University to working life now. Tiring as it is, those little things managed to make me smile when they rekindled moments of the past:)
