Bad interview? Nevermind, go binging!
Had an interview with ST Aerospace yesterday. Felt so drained after it. Took me almost 1 & 1/2 hours to complete everything which comprises of filling in particulars (the standard stuff), a design test (there was 2 questions with the 1st question having around 5-6 parts? They tested on my orthogonal 3 views drawing-and I realised I labelled dimensions wrongly, and material science etcetra. Whatever! Asking me whether to heat treat for annealing or soak in ph 8 solution or check for cracks, blah blah blah! So damn long, I didn't finish the paper. Feels like an exam!) and a open ended questionaire, following all these... then the real interview with 3 engineers begins. Wah biang! Brain drained. Felt like an empty nut shell after the interview. And they are really targetting people with good technical capabilities & super enthusiastic with absolute interest in aerospace or aviation industry. It doesn't sound like me to possess such qualities, haha! Whatever! Just went for the experience, I doubt they'll shortlist me anyway. Who cares?!
Well, bad interview is fine, what's the 'hit' yesterday was that finally...we satisfied our cravings for sushi buffet at Yuki Yaki. A great dinner I must say...with us going gossipy with my new found phrase: exploding.dot.com! For more details can refer to Cherling's bloggie. Waha, had a lot of fun cooking & grabbing sushi off the conveyor;p Nice! But a conclusion I got: 2 people go Yuki Yaki...not enough hands! There's the pan to take care of (especially if you're cooking fish) and a pot of soup to attend to and a conveyor belt that travels like 1cm/s faster than usual sushi conveyors! Sure to be kept busy with just 2 pairs of hands, haha! So next time should have more more more kakis to go together! Just that a bit expensive for dinner...no student rate, was it $20.95? Something like that..and I've yet to return the $ to CL, oopsy=x
The lights along orchard were as bright as ever...with so much bustling activities lined up as you take a stroll down. So much to see! A pity we didn't bring cameras, or I'll surely have good stuff to post on my bloggie *Pout:(* 2 more days & it's Christmas! If only there's snow in Singapore, wouldn't it be so nice, melancholic or even romantic for those who have their partners with them for Christmas? Then I'll set up a little fire place in my home, a brightly lit & decorated christmas tree and snuggle by the fireplace, listening to christmas carols and chatting away with my family & close pals after a sumptuous christmas dinner! Peaceful:)
What will you be doing on Christmas? Whatever you do, don't forget your loved ones;) A christmas's never complete without them.
