Back from Redang!

Wow, haven't been blogging for some time. Heez...hey peeps! I'm back from Redang!! Fun trip:) Went with a bunch of guys that I've never known before except ZBB and of cos my dear Sunbear! Most of the photos are with the guys..yet to get them. So update on photos will be later:p

Hmm, I felt more tired after the trip rather than rejuvenated. Haha! Spent the first night on the coach to Redang. Didn't dare to sleep much cos being a worry-wart like me..I wanted to make sure everyone would arrive safely and just a little paranoid fearing the driver would fall asleep on the 10 hour plus journey!

Berjaya Resort was nice..the rooms were close to hotel rooms. Near perfect. But due to its location, it's kind of secluded and away from the rest of the other resorts in Redang, so our activities were rather limited to what Berjaya has to offer. Snorkel, swim, kayak, kite flying (thanks to ZBB who bought the kites) , beach volleyball, nuaing & sun tanning by the beach! Haha, these were basically all that we've done within the 2 days. I still haven't got enough of tanning though. Hee. The guys were very accomodating & friendly I would say, despite meeting and going on a trip for the first time. It was sunbear bear & I that wandered off into our own world occassionally, neglecting the whole bunch of them. Geez...so paiseh. They've always tried to include us in their activities:) Made our trip much more fun & fulfilling. *Yoho! If you guys are reading this, just wanna say your actions were much appreciated(^o^)*

The nights were filled with bridge bridge bridge and more bridge games!!! The guys taught sunbear & I how to play the game of bridge. Havent really mastered the game fully though. Half the time I was feeling quite lost. Hurhurhux..Intellectual game:p VCDs! Thanks to Dingy who've brought his lappie along..*Hey, and I still haven't mastered the song "Ya see wa wu ji ba ban" from Dingy! ZBB sent me the song leh!* Dingy's so funny la, all you need to do is look at his face & expression and you can fall off the chair laughing. And our group has a Jay Chou-lookalike! That's when he wears his cap lah. But really look like lor..amazing Zhen Yang! The company was fun:)

The journey back was woooh...exciting! The coach was running on 4 out of 10 bolts of the back left wheel at the start of the journey back to Singapore. Soon...it was left with 3. *Astonished!* Ended up travelling at a maximum of 20km/h at the road shoulder for almost a good 3 hours trying frantically to source for people who can salvage us from the terrible situation we were in. Passerby along the road were staring at our bus in astonishment and pointing & commenting. It's a blessing we could still make our way home safely, except with a 3 hour delay. *Phew* Dingy wanted to write his will whilst on the bus and the guys continued with their game of bridge as usual. Me? Thinking if mechanical engineering actually did me good in such situations. Left helpless. Oh manz...haha:p

It's the first time Ling & I went for a trip together, after knowing each other for 13 years! Hee, didn't find peculiar living habits that she has. Maybe she's found some of mine..oops=x Haha! But I feel the trip was too short..spent half the time travelling. Hmm, maybe we can go on a longer trip the next time..wheee! I'm yearning for another holiday trip!!!
