Give Joan your strength & encouragement

Read about Joan from The Straits Times on Sunday. Decided to drop by her blog to take a look & perhaps give her some words of encouragement. I'm not sure what more I can do other than words of encouragement. Read some of her past blog posts and they made me tear. Even though I don't know her personally, I'm truly touched by her determination & will to fight the battle with cancer. I believe she's not the only one suffering in this world. But the fight may appear to be lonely & depressing without the support of everyone. It just dawned onto me that life's so vulnerable. Nothing's for certain and no one's deemed to stay with you forever. Human's are vulnerable, yet strong. It's an irony. What did these people do to ever deserve contracting such diseases? So young, with a bright future awaiting her and everything's come to a standstill because of cancer. Will I be as strong as her if I know my days are numbered? We should all the more cherish our loved ones because we never know what's going to happen tomorrow. God bless Joan.
