Shape Run 2006

Sunday was a girl power day! Shape Run 2006 ~ the only all women's race at Marina Promenade. Yeah yeah...went with dear CherLing. Had lots of fun! It's our first race together:) I like the fact that it's an ALL GIRLS race! Cool! Though we didn't win anything, I thought it was a fulfilling experience. At least I bettered my usual timing I guess. (>.@) Congrats to Michelle:) Hee. Motivated by people who are pushing that bit of limit...step by step. And without realising, you're actually motivating others to go on...step by step. Motivated & motivating! A run is never lonely! Heard one motivator along the route urging us on saying: " You're not alone! Your shadow is keeping pace with you." Quite cliche but yeah! My shadow moves in synchrony with me...step by step!

Organisation of the event wasn't exactly very well done. Lots of room for improvement. But the goodie bag was rather good I would say xD Hopefully the success of this year's Shape Run will mean a better one next year! There should be more of such all girls races! Girl power rawks!!!
