Bye 2005!

Last day of the year 2005. Just like christmas day, I slept half my new year's eve away. Read my book and went for my run. I've always thought sleeping's a luxury for any student. Perhaps next year when I'm into the workforce...sleeping will also become a luxury for worker bees.

Looking back at 2005, it's been rather fruitful - exciting at times, depressed occasionally and busy most of the time. Started the year with my industrial attachment, where I got a feel of what the engineering field, specifically the automation industry, was like. Made new friends like Pearl, WX, yingshun, bizhen; adding colours to my boring attachment life. I'll never forget the days we chatted & played a fool during our pantry conferences which WX prefers to call it "panty" conference, our precious lunchtime at house of traditional food, the walk to the bus stop after work with Pearl saying that we should take photos in the playground which we'll pass by everyday but still didn't eventually:p, of cos not forgetting doing OT together and surviving on milo & bread and WX who's nice enough to wait a little longer for me to finish OT and walk out together cos it's dark while I'd laugh at him saying we'll have higher tendency of meeting ghosts cos he's around. Memories...it was as if it just happened yesterday.

This is the year I did a crazy thing (at least to me it's an out of the world thing to do) that got me acquainted with the crush I had almost a year ago. It was a roller coaster ride for me with emotions flying high & low every now and then. It's amazing with the turn of events - from unknown to known. Don't think I'll ever do it again. Madness. Nobody knows what the future will be like. I've let my heart rest...gets super tiring at times.

Didn't seem to have spent enough time with my family for the past one year. *Guilty* Been trying to make up for it when I moved back from hall. Still haven't been been expressive in my love for my Dad, Mum & sis. *I'm trying I'm trying! Just can't get mushy and stuff, think I'm still conservative when it comes to such stuff.* But I don't mind saying it on my bloggie: I love you Daddy & Mummy & sister pig-pig! *Grin*

Friendship has been smoothsailing I would say. Once again, too little time - excuses again huh? I'm glad everyone has moved on, growing up with each day. The time spent together aren't long, but I've always cherished all the times we had together, whether it is a meal together, bia-ing projects, lectures together, watching arts fest, swimming sessions, chit chat kopi times, birthday celebrations, running together, pep talks, fighting Z monsters while mugging, battling the exams. I'll remember and cherish every single one that has comed into my life at any point of time...old friends & new ones:)

The academic year was just so-so. Learnt a thing or two from working on projects. Grades were so-so as well, hoping to 'up' them in the final semester. Felt really lucky on getting Prof Butler as my FYP supervisor. Progress was rather slow I would say, though Prof always tells me I'm doing fine. Not much time left in 2006 for FYP...scary! Have always loved school life though I do complain too much at the workload at times. But I think I'm going to really miss schooling when I graduate. Working life's never the same. 2006 will be the time to seriously sit down and think of what I'm gonna do with my life after June or July, time to get those CVs done as well, not forgetting my mission to attain my driving license. *Procrastinating Queen* Should get rid of this bad habit:p

Happy New Year! Hoping for a better year ahead, a 2006 where I'll be able to find my desired happiness. Welcome 2006:)
