Hello 2006
Started off the year 2006 in a busy mode again. Trying to get more results for FYP but the lab's practically fully booked almost everyday. Really gotta fight for a time to get my hands on the machine. Here I am in the school library trying to wait for some miracle that someone will drop the prescribed elective I'm eyeing on. Damn! No luck...I'm never lucky when it comes to subject registration. It's always the fastest-finger game. Majority of the people around me got what they wanted at a click of the mouse. Me? The computer hung on me for like 30 seconds then showed me an error message. That's it...it's enough to cause a mess in my timetable. I render it's no point staring at the computer monitor the entire day hoping. But I'm still banking on that little hope. Obstinacy. The only way out's for the Professor to approve my appeal for the elective. Wish me luck:)
Met up with JC friends the day before new year's eve. It's been a long time since the whole gang of us met up like that for a meal together. Had a great time at the Nepalese Restaurant. Most of the time was spent catching up with one another. The topics we talk about no longer hover around school and homework but work, career, salary, prospects, who's with who now, married already?, kids? and stuff like this. Times are really different and everyone has grown. Why do almost everyone expect life to be going through the standard phases: school, graduate, work, find a partner, get married, have kids, grow old and die? Or is there another way out? Anyway, it was a rare opportunity to get such a big turn out for JC outings and it was great, especially because its the end of 2005:)

I think everyone looked great in this one. But Julius's missing!

Here's the candid shot. You won't even notice the puny cake huh?
